The gender pay gap is the percentage difference between men's and women’s median hourly earnings.

It is not a measure of the difference in pay between men and women doing the same job. It is affected by things like the proportion of men and women working part-time, and the proportion of men and women working in different industries or occupations.

Use our interactive tool to find out the gender pay gap for your job, and the proportion of men and women who work in your field. Select the different tabs to see data broken down for full- and part-time employees.
