The median and mean equivalised disposable income of all households, retired households and non-retired households from the periods 2004 to 2005, to 2017 to 2018. These figures are nominal, and hence do not take into account inflation. Income is equivalised, which means it takes into account that households with more individuals need more money than a household with fewer individuals to have the same quality of life.
