Thank you for your enquiry. There are tables within our appendix tables published alongside the Homicide in England and Wales: year ending March 2019 publication which detail the ethnic appearance of the victim and principal suspect. These are:

Table 5a/5b: Shows the number/percentage of offences currently recorded as homicide, by age and ethnic appearance of victim, year ending March 2009 to year ending March 2019.

Table 8: Shows the number of offences currently recorded as homicide by a sharp instrument, by age and ethnic appearance of victim, year ending March 2009 to year ending March 2019.

Table 27: Shows the number of principle suspects convicted of homicide, by ethnic appearance of victim and principal suspect, combined data for year ending March 2017 to year ending March 2019.

The tables we have provided are for homicide which covers the offences of murder, manslaughter and infanticide rather than specifically just murder.
