Is there a list similar to that of the Small and Medium Businesses list from Companies House that has employee count included?

We are unable to disclose a list of businesses held on the Inter-Departmental Business Register (IDBR) including employee count, as this is information that identifies an individual business.
Section 39 of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 (SRSA) renders it a criminal offence to disclose information held by our organisation for statistical purposes that would identify an individual or a body corporate. As we are prohibited by law from publishing statistics in which individual businesses can be identified, Section 44(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) applies.
We can provide non-disclosive counts of businesses, which can include aggregated variables such as employment/employees and turnover values for the business counts via our ONS Data Analysis Service. Please see the following link for more information: IDBR bespoke services.
You may also wish to contact Companies House directly to see if they have any information on employee counts, as they are not bound by the same laws that we are.
